Dr Seok Yeoh General Practitioner

Dr Seok Yeoh is an experienced General Practitioner who graduated from the National University of Malaysia in 1990. Dr Yeoh has been in general practice since 1995, and received her FRACGP certification in 2000.

Dr Yeoh is interested in all aspects of general practice. Her main areas of interest include women’s health, maternal and child health, minor surgical procedures, dermatology, and chronic disease management.

In her spare time, Dr Yeoh likes to cook, bake, exercise and read. She also enjoys travelling, seeing new things and meeting new people.

Dr Asif Ahmed General Practitioner

With a strong background in General Practice, Dr Asif Ahmed is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, having obtained his specialist registration in 2019. Since moving to Australia, Dr Ahmed spent his time in regional and rural Victoria areas honing his medical expertise.

Dr Ahmed holds Advanced Clinical Certificates in both Skin Cancer Medicine and Skin Cancer Surgery and is experienced in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer. He is a RACGP examiner, supervisor and a mentor and enjoys teaching junior doctors and surgical assistance and forming strong relationships with his patients and believes that this foundation – a therapeutic partnership – is the key to obtaining good outcomes for his patients. Dr Ahmed’s interests include:

• Men’s health

• Geriatric medicine

• Skin cancer surgery

Outside of work, he is busy with his young family. He enjoys spending time outdoors and walking. He spends a lot of time pampering his cat.

Dr Solaf Shakir General Practitioner

Dr Solaf Shakir graduated 1989 from medical school in Iraq/Baghdad. She was awarded FRACGP in 2010. Dr Shakir is interested in all medical aspects, with particular areas of interest including women’s health, children’s health, mental health, travel medicine, and chronic disease management.

Dr Indrajith Prabash Maha Marakkalage General Practitioner

Dr Prabash is a highly qualified and dedicated medical professional with a wealth of experience in general practice with a strong commitment to providing comprehensive care to patients. His areas of expertise are skin cancer medicine, minor procedures, women’s health. Dr Prabash believes in patient-centered care, emphasising open communication, education, and prevention. He is committed to helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals and works tirelessly to ensure they receive the highest quality of care.

Dr Pui Lam (Patrick) Lau General Practitioner

FRACGP

Dr Pui Lam (Patrick) Lau will be commencing with Blackburn Road Medical Centre from February 1st, 2025.

Dr Patrick Lau graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004. He completed his General Practice training and gained his RACGP fellowship in 2010. He has a Diploma in Child Health and a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology.

Dr Lau has worked as a general practitioner for 15 years with experience in handling patient care. He also delivered teaching to medical students & interns. Dr Lau loves all aspects of General Practice but has a special interest in chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma,  COPD,  heart diseases and stroke in addition to skin, children’s, men’s and women’s health.

Dr Lau also speaks fluent Mandarin & Cantonese.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, cycling and travelling.

Eilene Tan Accredited Practising Dietitian

Eilene Tan is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD). She graduated from Bachelor of Science (Physiology) and Master of Dietetics at Monash University and Deakin University, respectively. She has years of consolidated experience within the Private Practice, Aged Care and Hospital settings.

She believes that we are what we eat, that the food we consume impacts us in many ways – emotionally, physically and functionally. She has experience in managing weight management, malnutrition, chronic conditions, women’s health, and paediatric conditions.

Eilene is passionate about paediatric nutrition, specifically in understanding and in the management of allergy and intolerances. She completed the Royal Children’s Hospital Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetics Course in 2023.

Outside of work, Eilene enjoys spending quality time with her young boys, family and friends. She also enjoys playing musical instruments, doing crafts and strength training. Eilene is fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Malay.

Daryl Marchant Registered (General) Psychologist

Experience:
Daryl is a senior psychologist with 25+ years’ experience in providing psychological assessments, individual/group therapy and health/well-being workshops. Daryl has also consulted widely in professional sport and as an adjunct Associate Professor with over 60 books/book chapters/journal articles publications. He has also supervised and mentored 40 postgraduate students (Ph.D/Masters/Hons).
